Artisan Fran has been a weaver since taking a class at the Springfield Art Association in 2013. Since that time, she has dabbled with 4 harness looms and rigid heddle looms and inkle looms and a vast collection of mini looms. Creations from these looms will begin appearing in the shop. From her weavings come scarfs and shawls and hats and gloves and purses and ornaments and whatever else crosses her fancy! She does not spin her own yarn, but often uses the hand spun yarn of others in her works. She also dabbles in natural dyes and incorporates these dyes in her weaving.
